Nightwish Imaginaerum

Imaginaerum is many things, least of which is being my favorite album of all time. It tells a tale of marvelous proportions on a path winding from gentle piano to heavy metal, smooth jazz to roaring orchestrations. This is an album a grew up with, that I can still listen to driving dark roads, on a cold and rainy night. Every lyric conjuring up another piece to the puzzle that this unlocks. It's not for everyone, certainly, but it is for me, and I still love it wholeheartedly just as much as I did the day I first heard that gentle change, from G to E Minor.

(As far as i can tell, the movie is only available from very select shops on DVD and Blu Ray. No where else. If you want to see the film I would consider buying a copy before it's too late as I don't think it will be very easy to get a hold of one once they're sold out).
